If you love your lip colours, this is definitely one not to be missed. The Sephora Limited Edition Puckerlicious Lip Set contains 5 lip products from Givenchy, Nyx, Sephora, Tarte and Too Faced, all for only S$29. That, I say, is a deal.
Now let us admire the prettiness that are these lippie stuff.
Givenchy Le Rouge Rose Dressing
A muted coral pink, the Givenchy Le Rouge feels luxuriously creamy going on the lips. Then again, it is Givenchy, it should feel luxurious. This makes my lips look plump, glossy, but not overly so and just very moisturised, which my lips don’t tend to do. I do like this formula and I might be tempted to pick up a full-sized one.
Nyx Butter Lipstick Taffy
The Nyx Butter Lipstick in Taffy is pretty much a Barbie pink and feels good on the lips too. Not as creamy as the Givenchy one but still nice. I have tried the Butter Gloss and it has that same comfortable feel on the lips.
Sephora Rouge Infusion Lip Stain Red Essence
The Rouge Infusion Lip Stain has one of those formulas that feel a little strange, feels like a drying liquid and when it finally dries, it stays but it doesn’t feel drying on the lips. It took quite a bit of wiping to get it off my lips and hand! Red is a rusty kind of red that looks very dark on me, definitely one for nights, for me at least.
Tarte LipSurgence Lip Gloss Blissful
Despite this looking quite peachy and pigmented swatched, the Tarte LipSurgence Lip Gloss in Blissful doesn’t really show up on my lips. I’m also a little on the fence about the formula. It is very tacky, but it isn’t streaky and it isn’t stringy when I smack my lips together. So, technically, it should last for a while and not slip off my lips, but I’m still not sure, I’d have to wear it for a longer time to see if I manage to forget that it’s on my lips.
Too Faced Melted Fuschia
I love this colour! Such a bright fuschia that just brightens up my face. I put on the Too Faced Melted in Fuschia today for work and it does last, but it is also a little drying on my lips, but then again, I do have dry lips. But, it’s nothing that patting on some lip balm doesn’t solve. This is another on my to-buy list.
All in all, if you can still get it, go get this set. The lip products are all lovely and it’s really worth the price. Besides, miniatures are just so adorable! Psst, I very much like the Givenchy packaging, so lux. There are 2 sets, but the difference is only in the Nyx Butter Lipstick colour and I got the darker shade.
